Is blogging your dream? Are you willing to go that extra mile, to be a successful blogger? There are millions of blogger, struggling to make it big in the blog world, not everyone will make it but! With a little time, and effort, sooner, or a later, your work will get notice.
There are so many things you need to consider when blogging, style, is one, try to make your blog design stand out from all the rest. Design your blog, so when people visit, they will want to come back. I spend hours, if not weeks, on my blog designing it over, and over, until I get it right.
I just don't settle for the basic templates, that comes with blogger, I first install the template, I think would look good, and I start modifying it until I get it looking the way I think it looks best.
Blogger has some pretty good looking templates, but! Most of them look so simple, and are lacking, the personal touch. So I tweak my template as much as I can changing, things like the font colors, layouts, text styles, and adding my own widgets, to spice up my blog. Often while editing my blog template, I will constantly change the look of it, and that's because when your websites does not feel right you will know it.
When I think things look the way I want them, I will then, and only then, introduce my new blog to the world. I think most bloggers specially new ones, don't take the time to do all the things I mention here is this post, and it's not because they are lacking, the ability, to learn I think it's just they're so excited to get their blogs published that they don't take the time to get it right.
